One of the most unusual museums in the Crimea - Feodosia Museum of Money - was opened on August 22, 2003. Museum's funds consist of the collection of Feodosia Museum, as well as the private collection of director - entrepreneur Alexander Oleschuk, who transferred to the museum nearly 3000 coins and 500 banknotes.

The museum introduces you to the coin business Theodosia, with a history of domestic and international currency. Here are the unique items related to stamping, printing and storing money. In addition, the museum tells the story of the origin and development of banking in Feodosia, where it originated back in ancient times.
Feodosia Museum is the only place that exhibited the first Ukrainian counterparts of modern electronic money cards. They were issued at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1995. Employees of the station could buy food for these cards in local stores
