Kazantip Nature Reserve
In 1998, Kazantip, on the territory of more than 450 hectares, 56 hectares of which fall into the waters of the Azov Sea, nature reserve was established.
The reserve is home to 17 species of animals and seven species of plants listed in the Red Book.
Of particular value is the section of virgin steppe, where the tulip grows Schrenk - rare species listed in the Red Book.
Walking excursion to the reserve
Sightseeing trail starts on the reserve on the eastern outskirts of the village capes. Rural Street runs straight to the path should move forward on it, focusing on the signs - the red arrows. From here follow further along the path on the southern slope of the ridge to the east. About 1.7 kilometers from the start you go to a huge stone in shape resembling a mushroom. Next, take the trail up to the Cape, where the remains of the main gate of the ancient settlement. Going further, you will go to the descent into the Tatar bay, where you can swim and relax after a walk.
