At the beginning of the XIX century on the Cape Plaka was built mansion Tauride governor AM Borozdina.
It built a
palace in the Empire style,
with cozy rooms and a huge library, around the palace was a park.
After his death the estate Borozdina belonged to his daughter Mary, then her second husband, Prince A. Gagarin (adjutant of Count Vorontsov.)
In 1857, the estate becomes the mistress of Georgian princess Anastasia Orbiliani-Gagarin.
In the early XX century in her estate was designed by architect N. Krasnov, built a
new palace
in the style of a modernized Germanic castle architecture.
He survived to this day.
Now it hosts the administrative building of the sanatorium "cliff."
The most expressive is the eastern facade of the building, entwined with vines.
Around the palace in an area of about 5 hectares of landscaped park was laid out. There are about 200 species of plants. Adornment of the park is the cypress alley, located west of the palace. Of exotics in the park are mostly evergreens. They are dominated by conifers, laurel, laurel, buksus and Photinia.
