Getting there

Chapel of St. Panteleimon on the source, the patron saint of warriors and healers - is one of the famous Orthodox shrines of the Crimea. Many legends tell of the wonders revealed to people outside this source.
In 1828 Evdokia Asteraki for many years suffered from skin disease, cured of the disease after swimming at the source. In gratitude for the healing of the girl's parents put in a holy place worship cross, which was assigned an icon of St. Panteleimon, written in the late XVII century.
The family prospered spring, first laying out his stones and putting a few benches.
In 1893 there was erected a temporary wooden building of the chapel. The structure burned in a fire in 1904. Two years later the chapel was re-erected, it was a new icon of St. Panteleimon, a gift from family Chikiridi. According to some, and this chapel, and a new gift had been destroyed by fire in 1949.
The modern chapel was founded in 1997 by Bishop Lazarus and open to the congregation in 2001.
