Nature attractions Tarkhankut

Two kilometers east of Cape Tarkhankut steeply down to the sea limestone  headlands Big  and Small Atlesh.  
Big and Small Atlesh - is a complex network of interconnected  small bays,  separated by limestone ridges.   Now, these tracts are the protected area.  

The best time for diving - the beginning of July, September and October.   At this time.   optimal water temperature, and water the most transparent.   Dive offered by many firms.   Before you pay for the services of the firm and instructor, ask if they have business license and an instructor certificate.  

Small Atlesh  
In the tract is small Atlesh unique  round the bay,  which is called "the cup of love."   Legend has it that lovers are checked "on strength".   Lovers were holding hands, jumping into the bay, and if in-flight hands were separated, the marriage of young men promised to be short-lived, if not - married lovers awaited happiness.  

Another attraction of the Small Tracts Atlesh -  86-meter-long tunnel,  an ancient karst cave.   In the rock above the tunnel is a vertical 11-foot hole.  

It is very similar to  mine well,  only without the bottom - mine is dropped into the sea.   It is believed that this "well" was set up in the middle of the XIX century by fishermen unloading the catch for the convenience of a boat to the shore.  

Big Atlesh  

Large Tracts Atlesh attraction is an arch carved by sea and wind in the hard limestone.   To enjoy it from the sea, it is possible for a boat ride along the coast - summer Tarkhankut many private boats and motor boats.  

Arrangement Atlesh engaged the firm of the same name.   For easy descent to the sea staff "Atlesh" built staircase; erected a chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas - the patron saint of fishermen and travelers, have built a cafe.  

In the 1990s, a large tract of Atlesh enthusiasts, divers set up on the seabed, 100 meters from the shore, "Alley of leaders."   At a depth of 12 meters are monuments to Lenin busts and other party leaders of the USSR - Monuments, which after the collapse of the country's first communist ideology Accidents moved from the pedestal to the dump.   This museum every summer, adding new exhibits era of socialist realism.

After examination of historical and natural attractions Tarkhankut recommend to the  beach town Olenevka.   There are numerous recreation and resorts, where you can stop for the night.   If you like the rest "savage", then right on the beach are allowed to install the tent.  

For those who prefer to club music and disco, we suggest to go to the village Popovka, which is located 70 km south-east of the Black Sea.   Every summer there is a youth  festival "Republic Z» («Kazantip"),  which attract thousands of fans of contemporary music.   The festival involves DJs from around the world, as well as artists working in the genre of pop and rock music.   Right on the beach, near the beach, there are more than a dozen dance halls, bars, restaurants and cafes, sports grounds, shops, souvenir shops, Internet cafes, salons, where their tattoos and body art.
